on NCIS they had

Duckeys Morgan, Abbey's (mmm abbey biggrin) hot rod, the seemed to use a lot of Dodge Intrepids and another car i cant place at the moment

In the parole office (movie) Steve Coogans character drove an old Volvo estate, same sort that Caroline Quentines character drove in Jonathan Creek

Does anybody remember "hardcastle and McCormick" I think it was called?
Some story about a guy stealing some prototype car... I thought it was amazing back then... probably looks like a smart car now! lol

Why can't people read threads before posting? It's kind of the idea...

Ah yes ~ the late, great Patrick McGoohan. My all time favourite actor.

Almost in agreement there ~ Great stuff and the music to match.

Almost, because prior to resigning from the "department" and becoming "The Prisoner", John Drake was "Dangerman" ~ a 30 minute TV series in black and white around 1960-2. The opening title sequence for Dangerman, John Drake ( McGoohan ) gets into a Mercedes~Benz 300sl ~ not the Gull Wing, but the equally beautiful soft top coupe variant ...

Despite a lengthy search, unable to locate the sequence showing the 300sl ~ maybe someone will have better luck finding it ~ meantime, here's another sequence/end of the TV show .... again, like the prisoner, strong opening sequence and titles....

ETA:

McGoohan was offered the film part of James Bond 007 before Sean Connery. A few years before, both appeared in a rather quaint black and white film "Hell Drivers". McGoohan played a nasty piece of work who when I first saw the film, schoolboy me really hated the guy ~ his portrayal of a hard man Irish truck driver was that convincing I hated him and wanted him to get his comeuppence...! You can take things too seriously when you're young ~ well I did back then ...biggrin.

In those days not only could you 'drive' in London you could park too! (albeit on yellow lines)

I'm guessing from the cars reg it must have been around 1965.

Right thats it...You asked for it!

And yes, I know the thread is why we dont have any good TV cars anymore but 99% are dull now anyhow.
