Whatever happened to nutty French cars like this?

Bags of character and still good looking.

OK, Citroen still make 'characterful' cars, but none can in any way be described as beauties.

C5 anyone?

The SM was also a film star.
It appeared in the original make of the Mean Machine staring Burt Reynolds.
It was his "enthusiastic" drive through the local suburbs that landed him in the choky in the first place, that and giving his old lady a slap.
I love the SM and have also toy'd with the idea of buying one. A review of the Jenson interceptor would be cool as well especially the last Mk11 version with the big block 7.2 litre engine.

Never drove one? Otherwise you'd know better. Performance no, but Grand Tourer yes . . . Sorry, but I still think it'll be a classic.

If you can raise 240K euros, you can have this https://www.classicdriver.com/en/article/cars/citr...
I nearly bought the ex-U" owned one circa 20 years ago-with uprated hifi, of course.
