This picture sums it up nicely.
Rosberg looks like he's about to drop off to sleep and Hamilton is on his phone..

They look like cardboard cut-outs.

I just realised that I didn't know who'd got pole, and that I haven't checked when the race is on TV tomorrow. Strange thing is, I don't really care either.

How can a sport like F1 have been manipulated with such incompetence that it has become so mind numbingly boring?

Oh well. I'm 43. Lifelong GP attendee, got into it properly in '85, went to BGP's and tests, up until the early '00's. Very, very rarely missed a GP on TV, but this year (in fact the past couple) have gradully sapped my enthusiam for some reason. I think next year with the new engines will be the year I finally stop considering myself an F1 enthusiast and start buying 80's and '90's Grand Prix review DVD's and build models of my favourite cars of the past!

I think there will always be a 'market' for F1 as gradually the enthusiasts of the 'good old days' (like me) give way to the people for whom the current F1 will become the 'good old days'. It was the same for my dad who used to say the same thing about grands prix in the 50's and 60's: they were the times he looked back on with affection.

I've not got any of the cars yet, but the aircraft (along with a few others) are somewhere on the scale models forum.

Dull, dull, dull.

Convenient issues for Webber, incompetent strategies galore, even more conveniently still working RBR car in a different league, post-apocalyptical looking track, 10 minutes of replays around lap 4 so any sense of who is where in the race is completely lost, DRS way too strong for some cars and way too weak for others (gearing I assume).

Hate F1 right now, won't be watching next season if they can't do something about this.

Motorsport magazine once ran a series of articles called - "Formula 1 - When Did You Lose Interest?"

That was in 1965.
