Much as a like Button, I think it will be Lewis, he can usually make an average car perform well and so far it looks like his car is above avaerage.

JB needs a good car set up to his liking.
This, unless it was changeable conditions for every single race. biggrin I love Button's racing style but I don't think it is risky/agressive enough for another WDC.

biggrin the Vettel hate is funny. Did alright in a Torro Rosso didn't he? He'll get absolutely everything out of the car.

I agree he is ultra smooth, good on tyres and strategy but just doesn't seem to 'hang it out' often enough these days. Mind you the same thing could be said of Kimi these days.

I really think Rosberg has a great chance if he is allowed to fight it out with Hamilton. I wouldn't discount Vettel either, if RB get the car sorted quickly he is so determined he could come from a long way back to nick it on double points.

1% went other... so basically me and someone else... I'd like to see Massa give it a good shot, he knows how to win, has had the pressure of being in a World Championship battle, and I just feel the Williams could be a good car this year.
Yep, I couldn't decide amongst Rosberg/Hamilton/Alonso/Button and maybe Magnusson, so instead went for who I'd like to win it most (who realistically has half a chance), so voted Other in respect of Massa. I've never been a huge fan of his, having always thought others elipsed him, but he's always come across as a really nice, enthusiastic person and Williams need to turn things around. They might just do so this year...

Voted Button - good engine, team nicely bedded in and hopefully after a terrible year last year they've made an early start on development of this years car and got on top of it. But it's more with my heart than my head if I'm honest as I am a Button fan.

Hamilton looks strong.

Expect fireworks at Ferrari with two big egos, but you never know - if they get the right sort of constructive rivalry they might just dominate the whole season.

But with 4 straight titles behind him, Adrian Newey designing the car and all the resources of Red Bull willing him on it's not hard to see another Vettel-fest developing.

The problem is, Newey can make the car the fastest thing through the turns, if its true the Renault motors are 150bhp down and cant last ten laps, its pointless.

If it's as dramatic as that. I suspect they're doing a bit of managing expectations and it will be slower for the first few races until they get it sorted.

Horner has said in no uncertain terms that their target is only to finish the race at Albert Park. You can bet your life that they'll be drilling and grinding bodywork until it resembles a slab of metallic purple emmental if that's what it's going to take to finish.

I'm not necessarily saying they'll succeed because their problems don't seem to be limited to cooling, but...

P.S. If I remember rightly they managed to do a single run of more than 20 laps at Bahrain, albeit at a pace at least 5 seconds slower than Massa when he was going for it on light fuel.

My money is on Button simply because he is the smoothest driver out there. This year is going to be all about saving fuel and tyres which he will be good at.
If it was an all out dash then my money would be on one of the Mercs or one of the Ferraris. Too close to call which of either will come out on top.

I bet on Button......

But I reckon he'll find a trick double diffuser that suits his style, win 6 races whilst the rest scratch their heads. Magnussen may be a bit of a problem in the same car, so they'll hire an elderly Brazilian who claims he has never retired as his number two to ensure he gets a clean sweep of wins.

So yes, Button can still be champion.

To a larger degree than usual, driver ability at the front pof the championship has been over ridden by car ability.
