What if Sauber really do hit the buffers? (I hope not, but...)
Would that mean Haas may but Sauber and run them as Haas? Ferrari connection and all that...
Could explain the delay until 2016, gives him extra time to see if he can pick up Sauber as a going concern, and not have to make as much investment, as quickly.

So they've delayed their entry while they make their minds up about, well, everything, and have nothing laid down. seems quite a typical american F1 attempt.
I only looked here as a voice suggested hass might be the answer to the 64k alonso question, a dark horse making big promises behind the scenes about large investment.

Not sure where you get that from ? It says they are signing a lease on a UK base very soon, the NC facility has been extended, they are signed to use suspension, engine, drivetrain from Ferrari. Sounds to me like they've got quite a lot sorted out.
Haas doesn't need Alonso's money, he's got plenty of his own.

sorry was more a general comment than referencing the article, that any kind of surprise announcement about something concrete in the short term is unlikely.Haas doesn't need Alonso's money, he's got plenty of his own.
Sounds like they've got some great plans though...
Now we're mid-season and the driver speculation is probably due to start soon anyway, let's not forget that we'll hopefully have a new team on the grid in 2016. Haas are looking ambitious and apparently somewhat credible with it.
Toto Wolff bigging up Haas' approach to F1 2016. Ferrari has unlimited aero tunnel time with 'Haas' development parts.

It has been a very smart way to build a new team.Toto Wolff bigging up Haas' approach to F1 2016. Ferrari has unlimited aero tunnel time with 'Haas' development parts.
I think they will be midfield at the start, question is how they will sustain it with such a multi-site development model.

That's what concerns me. All the major players tend to have everything in one building or very close to each other. I hope they do well as F1 needs an American team imgo. I think they will be midfield at the start, question is how they will sustain it with such a multi-site development model.
