this year is showing two things for me:
lewis hamilton is as good as we thought he was in 2007/2008
vettel is not as good as we've constantly been told.
remember the 2009 mclaren and what hamilton did with it? that's what we should be seeing from vettel were he a true great. we're not.
Rather early to be forming conclusions like that. And somewhat insulting to DR.lewis hamilton is as good as we thought he was in 2007/2008

Shuush fb! Let RS have his orgasmic moment ...
Early days to be premature ... with judgement. Making things very interesting though. Liking the new season more with the passing of every day.
Anyway, my favourite is better than your'n. Plus with less noise ... Less is more ... So there. ...
Annoyed with myself. Fancied at least one RB for the top three in Q3 ... Good each way odds on both. Overslept after a hard days night working on my old MG.
Damn und blast!

Finally got to see Lewis' lap on the Beeb's website here. Fascinating to watch; very unusual lines, really looking for the grip, maybe a couple of tiny errors?
Thanks for the link. It was an awesome lap from Lewis.Just a shame that Sky were unable to show us the lap from Lewis.

Sky were worse than useless today.
He's just avoid the rubbered in areas of the track - using the "karting lines". Sky were worse than useless today.
Basically over a weekend the rubber builds up on the racing line and if it rains it gets ultra slippy - so you look for the bits of tarmac that aren't normally used. It's a longer distance around the corner but it's a lot faster.

More than a couple, i see 4 slipups, nothing tragic, but probably another 4-5 tenths in there...Sky were worse than useless today.

Do keep in ind that Sky have no control over the pictures we see.Sky were worse than useless today.
Their F1 mid week show was DIRE even including, and as the "audience" were reminded, do keep clapping, for our special guests this week.........................Johnny Herbet and a.n other sky staffer! Also including Johnny and Damon on the golf course.
Absolute rubbish!!
HEADS UP :~
On-line bookies obviously see it as another two horse race and are betting without the two Mercs. So you may find your man is at attractive odds for a "Best of the Rest" bet.
With the weather likely to play an important part tomorrow, I shall wait until about five minutes before the off before considering to have a more serious bet ... or not.

What a farce. Anyone know the reason for using a flow sensor rather a restrictor?harryowl said:

The allowable flow rate is proportional to rpm up to 10500 and then fixed. This would be rather difficult to achieve with a fixed restriction. As to it being a farce, Ferrari and Mercedes don't seem affected by the failures, but then they aren't modifying them.

I'm sure the FIA would love to hear from you when you have made a 100% accurate reliable restrictor.
This is the last race that the modified senders can be used.

Only Red Bull are kicking up a fuss. Why is it a farce if one team are causing trouble for their own gain?
