hmm, deal put together by former insider, presumably the "very familiar name" mentioned previously. Maybe Flavio is coming back !

Maldonado is banned for life from Monaco, so i think there's scope! Don't beleive it'd be flav for a second though.

Didn't he get that overturned? Something about breaching his human rights, IIRC.

Flavio and Symonds got banned for life, which appears to have meant a couple of years as Symonds was soon doing consultancy work before going to Marussia and then Williams.
Flavio ? he's been busy in a typical Italian way, Mrs Briatore:

So, Elisabetta, just what was it that attracted you to the multi-millionaire Flavio Briatore?

Only Flavio was banned for life. Symonds was banned for five years. These bans were overturned by the French Tribunal de Grande Instance, enabling Pat to perform consultancy work for Marussia.

Was rather wondering if Tata in the form of Jaguar Land Rover fancied a punt into F1.

Haven't heard a squeak out of Nicolas Prost. he has the ambition and connections to be credible. Does his silence signify anything?

Surely it must involve Jacques Villeneuve - he knows how to fix everything that's wrong with F1.

No word on who the actual owners are, but Colin Kolles to advise and Christijan Albers to run the team.
