I'm not sure about that, but I can tell you these threads would be a damn sight quite without him.

People like you won't know what to do with yourselves once Lewis has retired.

And isn't knuckle dragging a past time of you trolls? Your troll status is already cemented so keep on a dragging and a grunting and a snortin' wink

Sorry I hit a nerve re' the car BTW.

I honestly don't think that Ferrari is anywhere near as much of a 'dog to drive' as everyone's mmaking out. I think it'd come a long way since the beginning of the season, and though not as good as the mercs, is still a pretty good car, as kimi also showed yesterday.

LDN, what are you doing?

It's really pretty tragic. You're doing the playground equivalent of irrelevantly shouting really st and unentertaining insults at someone whilst laughing at your own incredible wit. Meanwhile, everyone else is standing around a bit awkwardly, wondering what you're doing.

This is what you're doing:

Everyone in the playground: we're all discussing apples
Cmoose: I don't like apples
Everyone: well we do
Cmoose: I still don't
LDN: (sprinting up to the crowd and yelling) Is that right? Well your mum is really st and your dad got laid off his job last week! Hahahahahahahahahaha, you're soooo POOR!!!
Everyone: awkward silence
Cmoose: ok. You're a bit strange.

Shall we talk about F1 maybe?

2nd and 6th IIRC. Can't be that bad to drive indeed. I wonder if they've improved it enough to keep fighting. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the breakdown. I've discussed F1 at length and even ventured to say Ricciardio is a superstar. Cmoose has been called out as a troll by around 10 other posters... he wanted a fun exchange and I obliged. Following the playground parallel, he is upset now and has thrown his toys out of the sandpit.

I'll happily discuss F1 smile I love it! smile

The Ferrari has looked at least close ish to the Red Bull. Was at Silverstone and the Vettel / Alonso fight was something to behold. Alonso is just in another league of that there is no doubt. I can't believe his passion given that season in / season out; the car has not been quite there.

There's wasn't, as the team has said. Move on.
Thanks but no thanks. They said it during the race. The team principles said they regretted it after the race. Now - after a post-race huddle and PR think - they say it was a request. (Presumably to try to keep cmoose happy.)

It's just face-saving.

(FWIW, I'm a Hamilton fan, but I know what I saw and heard.)

I don't think he has got upset - he's rather come out on top of your exchange.

Still, agree that not enough attention has been put on Ricciardo. Great drive from a driver who comes across as a nice bloke too. Even my mum thinks he seems polite.

You missed the bit where Hamilton's anus got (very oddly) brought into things........

But seriously, the bickering is a bit childish.

I'm sure he needs you to speak for him wink it's cute.

But back to the real talk; yes Daniel; He's fast becoming my favourite driver.

I wonder- in the next GP, if Lewis has a slow pit stop (oops sticking wheel nut guv) he can't do anything can he? Literally walk and thats it.

I do wonder with Webber - all his 'bad luck' if it was bad luck or just subtle sabotage.
It's horrible to even consider this. Webber did seem to think there were things going on. If he ever writes a book; I'll be ordering a copy; perhaps a reveal all many years down the line is in order. Having said that; isn't he still under contract with red Bull in some way?

I genuinely can't believe anyone would engage in any conspiracy about sabotage still! The teams have spend 100's of millions of Euro / GBP developing the car, everyone involved has cut their teeth through all forms of motorsport, and are determined to win, they've then transported both cars to the track, all the hospitality, all the setup, run FP1, 2 and 3, the thousands of man hours poured, heart and soul into every weekend to then get "a sticky wheel gun"??? Or worse, set fire to "your own car!"... The line of thinking is madness! The team want the WCC and the WDC, they want a 1 - 2 every race, not hobble one car otherwise why bother?

Just turn up to any race event and see the effort that goes on behind the scenes, you'd have to be mad to sabotage anything.

These aren't some micky mouse accountants over the chip shop, bit of ducking and diving sunshine, know what I mean, they're professional race teams... Doesn't anyone here have a scrap of professional dignity? I guess not as we're all posting on a message board on a Monday morning rather than working...

Ha! I'm working; don't worry. Re' conspiracies; I don't believe them outright but I also think it naive to not assume that there are 'things' that go on... Look at the Flavio / Alonso incident for a prime example.

At the same time: I get what you're saying. To invest so much and then sabotage your own team is an odd concept.

Controversial..
When Vettel put the car in the wall it was clear he was driving the car like he used to when it had a blown floor.

It's great to see Hamilton do well, because it seems to get the blood of many Hamilton haters boiling! I don't care who you are, but pit lane to 3rd, including a spin, is damn impressive. And I very much doubt half the pack could've done what Hamilton did in the race, even if they used the Mercedes.
I thought it was a remarkable drive.

Tough between him, Alonso and Riccardo for driver of the day as all have their merits.
We are privileged to witness so many fine Gladiators & their fine chariots.
