My prediction is that Massa will crash into something.

Again.
Wonder if he has a performance clause in his contract about crashing into things.... laugh

I think we are going to see a fightback from Lewis here, in fact I think we are in for a run of Lewis victories...

Yeah, nobody ever crashes into Massa. Not Magnussen, not Hamilton ...nobody ever! Funny statistic that in the eyes and minds of the unseeing.

Alonso to Williams for the last few years of his career?

He brings enough cash with him to make sure the team can deliver...

I know you are a bit of a Massa fan. I think he turns in on people and he lacks situational awareness.

I was enormously impressed how he crashed in practice at Silverstone in precisely the same place he also crashed his Ferrari last year. Thats not very bright. smile

It wouldn't be out of the question, would it? Although I'm not entirely familiar with the circumstances of Ferrari not renewing / extending Massa's contract, I don't there was any bad blood there for memory???

A barge pole (a bl**dy long one at that!) and hell freezing over when there is a blue moon, and maybe Big Ron would perhaps even consider it just for a fleeting moment...
Stranger things have happened, like Mansell going to Mclaren.....at the end of the day Mclaren need a title sponsor, and I'm guessing the Santander $$ (or Pesetas) would follow Fernando

So McLaren could end up with Santander again and plastc trophies sponsored by Santander. Nice.

Spanish banks have vaults full of plastic, they use to issue credit cards from it, in the old days

Next season surely where McLaren are concerned, The Honda Motor Company of Japan will have some say about all that. Good for them if they do.

Yes, because Honda interfering never went wrong before... wink

They should bring great engineers, a great engine and cash.

Leave the drivers, politics and F1 stuff to Ron and Eric.

Lewis needs a win for the points and the boost mentally. And a DNF from Nico wouldn't be so bad as it'd even the score DNF wise...

I'd like:

Hamilton
Massa
Ricciardo

Wouldn't want to be Massa called into that meeting with the HR department.

"The thing is Felipe, we have to grasp this opportunity for Williams to move up the grid,... and Fernando is faster than you."

Yes, nailed it! His record in that respect speaks for itself. rofl

Because it was written into both Ferrari drivers' contracts. So, be a good lad @ No.2 and move over and allow him to pass just as you were ordered to do when leading Schumacher... Remember? It's not rocket science.

He's brought a lot of cash to Ferrari to make sure the team can deliver lots of Championships for both himself and the team.

Trouble is, the talentless but very lucky young German spoilt the show ..... FOUR season on the trot. How lucky is that! hehe

...... wink

EDIT to add Williams' Directive :~

Sometimes old habits die hard Felipe. So here's a gentle reminder that you no longer have that dark shadow of a millstone around your neck. So now, when you see his Ferrari behind you, no need for the knee jerk move over as was the case in the past. You're driving for Claire, her Dad and yourself now... wink

Oh yes, watch out for any "racing" drivers, particularly those who's name begins with an M when you close that gap. They may not be so lucky next time which could be sad for all concerned.

But in all honesty I don't mind Massa, he's better than a lot of others in F1 and seems a decent enough guy.
