Why is there even a sausage kerb on the inside? Bring back gravel I say.
As far as I am aware, the kerbs at the Bus Stop have been like that since 2007 (with the raised outer sections).

Scary crash.
Driver was 'only' 20.
Wait till we get a 16 year old in an F1 car!, great idea - what could go wrong ?

Quite. After all Vettel was all of what, 19 (?) when he first drove in a race weekend....

Why are the speed trap figures so low? 289kph lowest and the highest is only 309.

They exit Eau Rouge at about 290 I thought they normally hit nearly 340 on the long Kemmel straight?

Age has nothing to do with it. One can fly solo in the UK at 16. All he's got to do is work on his round out and touch down.

My prediction:

1. Nasr
2. Wolff
3. Raikonnen

Analysis:

Massa and Bottas incapacitated by dodgy Kebab ingestion. Nasr and Wolff win from back of grid. Kimi, shaken and stirred, announces immediate retirement from F1 to take up chair of Philosophy at Berkley "it's more exciting, you know". Rosberg and Hamilton take each other off and are seen making love in gravel trap. BBC refuses to show highlights before watershed.

Interesting comments from McNish regarding the Audi sportscar in that it has more downforce and brakes 40 metres later than the current F1 cars. Goes to show how much they've reduced downforce in the current F1 cars.

Well that certainly surprised me. I was always of the impression (from a few years back) that F1 had the highest downforce and could brake the latest of all racing series...

nope (the power of marketing)

30 years ago group C/GTP cars were way ahead in terms of outright downforce, some were making reportedly 10,000Lbs back then.

Didn't see FP3 but Bottas was fastest. Looking very wet there on tv now.

Very very wet, hailstones. EJ just dumped his broken umbrella in the pit lane hehe
