If I were head of PR at Merc I'd always be happy for Nico to go off and do his own interviews, whereas with Lewis I'd want to make sure he was accompanied by a grown up.
Say this when lewis wins WDC.
Are you 12?

Why is it, every thread in the f1 forum either starts off, or by the end of the first page moves over to Lewis hating brigade (also referred to as trolls) get going with their crap!?..

I dread to think what they'll do the day he retires...

Probably walk around a park in the middle of the night, butt naked, holding their willies, not sure in what direct to head towards hehehehehehe

It's Pathetic

What makes you think that Lewis will suddenly develop magical PR skills the second he wins the title?

Not saying he will, but he'll be champion, so what does it matter. I think his personality is great, and if it annoys the haters, even better.

I think it's more important what lewis does behind the wheel than behind the microphone.

I agree to a degree, but they are not mutually exclusive. Great drivers tend to be great at speaking and have a confident maturity.

Rosberg is an idiot. End of story lol
I dispute that.
Rosberg is much, much cleverer than Hamilton. He was also clever enough to survive Schumi. I think that takes some doing.
Rosberg handled all of that interview and the dumb questions really well. He's a fine driver and a gentleman. I like him a lot. Pick of the bunch in my opinion.

Absolutely. Take Mika as a case in point.

I didn't say that all were great speakers but most are. Mika isn't so bad.

Actions speak louder than words. I don't care what the drivers say as long as they drive like professionals, in Lewis's, and Rosberg, this is the case.

Or Kimi, "I spun".

Personally that interview just showed me the petulent side of Rosberg is still alive and kicking, captain underpants and his not-so-subtle digs 'I've learned something' as if to suggest he still thinks that his team mate should have parked up at the side of the track so that he could trot past without trying.

Shame he couldn't return the favour of the badly placed, heavily encouraged car in qualifying.

Rosberg is a hateful prick. Wanders around expecting people to let him have his way.

Kimis a one off isn't he? He just doesn't give a flying fk about anything does he? He has zero interest in courting any type of publicity or self promotion etc. I understand that away from the camera with friends he is an absolute scream.

In many ways, he's the most balanced of the lot of them!

You see little flashes of that from time to time. For example, the lawnmower racing he did with Sky F1. He was grinning like a loon, making little funnies like pulling a visor rip-off before the race started (to much laughter from Brundle, Herbert, etc), and really went for the racing. Then afterwards, they they got down to interview, each sat on their lawnmowers. First question was that they couldn't believe he turned up & participated, and he grinned and said it was a laugh. Then the proper interview questions started and he just switched off like a light bulb and was immediately into "corporate mode" (ie. monosyllabic non-committal answers).
