So guys what should happen if this occurs in Abu Dhabi? ,Nico or Lewis destroying the others race and then taking the championship.
I know they could be removed from the Championship,But that seems over the top after a seasons long battle, But because of the situation a drive thru hardly seems enough.

FFS let's not have any more idiotic talk of penalties; they are already dished out for the most trivial reasons. 'The incident is under investigation 'usually means that somebody was found guilty of racing somebody else and Something Must Be Done as somebody must be at fault.

No. It was a racing incident. Yeah, OK maybe a clumsy one, and NR should have avoided by going over the kurb of the left hander.

Mercedes however should put the reserve driver in NR's car for the next race as punishment for breaking their own rule of not taking each other out, and so losing a potential team 1 & 2 !

Fair....yes, obviously we should suspend anybody found guilty of being a racing driver. What on earth do people want? Perfect safe overtakes every time ? After you Claude? Stuff happens and thank God it does - what on earth would people find to talk about or enjoy in incident free races ?
