Suitable disciplinary action has been taken, according to the team...
It does appear to be the case that they are not keen to disclose what has happened. Which is a shame.

I wonder if Nico will still get booed? And if he does win the WDC to my mind it is now tainted (and makes me question Monaco too).
Nico got booed, probably as much as the dirty deed itself, for being seen to get away with it.

By failing to so much as pretend to do anything the fia are asking for more dissent.

According to the person (can't remember names) the collision wasn't Rosbergs fault (I pointed out that even Wolf and Lauda agreed) he claimed that they had back tracked since their initial comments... It would seem not smile
You only had to hear and see the unbridled anger from Toto Wolff and Nikki Lauda (speak up?) post-race to see their true opionion. If their opinions have changed since then, then this is corporate.
Racing is one thing and business is another.
MB want a German (well, sort of. I think he visited Germany once) driver winning in a German car and the team will have been reminded of that and told to toe the line.

That theory is unfounded and seems very far fetched.

The only thing German about the team is the name...

That's irrelevant.
Do we (as a nation) see RR as British?

Absolutely. And that's why until recently, they had an all German line-up.

You come across as a bit of a paranoid loony saying things like this.

Relax and try and kerb the over thinking!

Be interesting to see what happens if the situation is reversed (which is entirely possible).

Lewis has, I expect, been examining in fine detail how he can make contact with Nico's car (toward the end of a race naturally) such that he can still get his car home while disabling the other...

No doubt at all there will be at least one more collision incident between these two.

Not in the slightest, I could explain why your statement is nonsense but I won't waste my time.

I expect you're part of the Lewis fanboy problem on the F1 threads (which are now getting notorious throughout the forum) and no wonder with statements like that.

You couldn't be more wrong.

You seem to be one of these individuals who get's off on insulting people on the net to get your man points so I don't want to waste my time on you either.

Do me a favour. If there is such a thing as an ignore list on this forum, put me on yours.
I have no particular urge to interact with you again.

What, that Hamilton misjudges where his front wing is when resuming position behind another car?

Shampoo what? Does acrylic/nylon/whatever need shampooing?

Wow! Who knew ... rofl

BTW, 1:1 is even money, not odds-on. Obviously your understanding is on a superior plane to mine... wink

Right, I'm off to lump some money on LH for the win in Monza ... He IS odds-on. Obviously, given the depth of your understanding you knew that... smile

Actually the FW have been subject to a minimum 5mm radius from, IIRC, long before the Pirelli era. It's not perfect but then again many other times drivers hit other cars with their wings with no punctures so Hamilton was a bit unlucky I'd say.

So why did they replace the other German, announcing that Hamilton was just what the team needed, a really fast driver?

'I think he is, (even) in a bad car, the best driver in the world because he's unbelievably quick,' Lauda said. 'He makes no compromise. So if Hamilton would join the team next year, which he is, I can tell you he will make a big move forward on speed.'

Did they think they might get Lewis to turn German?
