They must continue to race hard and not hit each other for the remainder of the season.

I can't see NR sticking to that as/if and when his lead gets reduced..

we can all do that....yet we don't get paid to travel to GPs, have paddock access, acccess to a network of people to qualify what's said. He can, and should be ahead of the game....

No, this is a thread with Hamilton's name in it. We MUST froth at the mouth constantly as a result, it's written into the scriptures. Noone should sit on the fence, or anywhere near it. THERE IS NO FENCE. Hamilton is either a driving god, or the devil's clone. There can be no inbetween.

I doubt the punishment was anything more than a bking from Mercedes and Petronas senior management. I'll be surprised if the drivers statements expected later shed any more light other than carefully scripted corporate speak.

Mid-championship I would also be surprised to learn of massive internal fines etc. too destabilising mid-season.

I'd suspect just a verbal warning followed by someone pulling Nico to one side afterwards and say "Nico... Work to bring in 1-2 finishes and Lewis would have to win every single race for you to lose the WDC. It's your WDC to lose."
