Great pictures Gaz. If Prodromou is the aero wizard they have Matt Morris for chassis who joined last year from Sauber. Something just isn't gelling.
Just watched the "legends" episode on Sky, this was with Lauda. Have an awful lot of respect for him, he's straight down the line and says exactly how it is. Brutally honest about his accident, recovery and struggles with Enzo.
Particularly interesting was that he said he basically acts as a mentor to Nico and Lewis and tells them what he thinks from a racing perspective, "this might be different from what management say" he said!
I know he's getting on a bit but He could be a good guy to pick up the mantle from Bernie. He's still a racer, he understands all of that, but he's also a businessman.
Just another one of those guys you'd love to sit down and talk to over a bottle or three of something.
Someone posted this to the autosport forums a few years ago with the title "I've been to hell, where have you been ?". Quite.

Just spoken to McLaren and they assure me that Kevin Magnussen is fine - bit of rehydration and a very hot back but nothing too scary. #F1
If you haven't had your fix yet, NASCAR Cup race coverage just starting on Premier Sports, race start in 65mins.

We must have very different ideas of what makes a good race then. I thought it was incredibly boring; not much on track action happened and the winner was never really in doubt. 2 hours of follow the leader with 20 mins of safety car thrown in made the race feel far too long for me..... contrast to Monza which is too short time wise.
Plus 1 agreed a tedious event the circuit creates boring races watching on tv it's just dull viewing - bring on the next race ASAP !sebhaque said:

indeed, for me its not just who wins and how long the race is . Longer the better in fact
However, I think this was more of a strategist's race. Quite dull to watch but, particularly with all the telemetry and stuff from the app, interesting to see where the strategies are being made and how they're panning out. Must admit I was glued to the timing screens while Hamilton was complaining about his tyres. This is the other side of F1 i like
Still enjoy the race

I've a feeling Rosberg is in for a tough race and won't be on the podium.
I can see Red Bull on the second and third step.
Not a bad prediction! I was all set to score a lot of points until the last lap when Bottas and Magnussen disappeared off the back of the group.I can see Red Bull on the second and third step.
Only watched the highlights today, generally seemed an ok race - interesting strategy, but not many overtakes. Verge at the end was very interested, and for all those saying it was boring with Hamilton going to win it - well, there could well be mechanical failure or an accident. So not a confirmed 25 points despite the early loss of Rosberg. Rosberg was understandably almost crying when it was all going wrong.

And some balance is restored to the universe.
Hamilton is unquestionably faster than Rosberg. DNF's and technical problems were tilting the situation.
We are now more or less back at parity. From here on, it seems a fair fight to me between the two of them.
'Some' is right... My maths may be off but isn't Nico due one more mechanical to truly even the balance? In any case, Nico's DNF drew more cheers... British fans I suppose; or not.Hamilton is unquestionably faster than Rosberg. DNF's and technical problems were tilting the situation.

I think that was one of the more boring races of the season but some good bits. The Merc is in another league altogether, for Lewis to drive away from Vettel like that; just unbelievable.

Does anyone know what the argument was in the Williams pit stop? I couldn't see anything at the time.
Williams are saying that it was "banter" and the result of friendly competition between the different wheels - each wheel team tries to be the quickest. Commentators are saying that it looked far from friendly.

Wasn't a great race but it was tense. The safety car made strategy very complex and there was always the risk of another coming at a bad time for Lewis causing him to lose places.
Nico was unlucky, but if it's true that luck balances out, he's due another DNF.
Certainly serves to show just how quickly it can all get turned on its head..... I can't see anyone being 50 points clear going into the last race.

NO more silly than what Rosberg did.
These Brits get around abit, dont they ?
No he was a silly boy that is for sure (sticking to F1 speak)... These Brits get around abit, dont they ?
BUT, he's been punished, and I am pretty sure his Mojo has taken a hit on top. I think enough is enough now on the boos though.
I suspect his pride and confidence has taken another knock when he hears that Lauda said that Lewis was worth his money, no doubt about it!! That has to hurt.
