Saward mentions that Ron is under pressure to buy some shares... So it's possible they may oust him if he doesn't.

He took over management control in January on the basis that he would then raise the money to buy control of the whole group.

Like any business, you need to put up or get out. It will be very interesting to see what transpires at McL in the next month or 2.

Very sneaky of Ferrari that...putting him in the only car of the last however many years that was half decent.
Actually, 2012 spec cars are the newest cars they are allowed to drive outside the testing restrictions.

I know...I was just joking about the comment. It's not like he'd refuse to join the team even if they'd let him drive this years car.

Vettel has been testing an F2012 at Fiorano:

This is the car Fernando nearly won the 2012 title with. Must be quite interesting for Sebastian to compare it with his '12 challenger which he won with in the end...

Seb in response: "You mean I'm not here to drive around and get (over)paid based on my past performances? The last guy did just that didn't he?" smile

Makes for very interesting reading. It certainly looks like Alonso rather shot himself in the foot there. Repeatedly. And with Flav passing him extra magazines.
