But 20 Autosports do have a lot more content than just an F1 write up.
True, but I find the current Autosport a shadow of it's former self.
Very true.

For a dedicated Motorsport magazine I find the contents lacking proper detail.

A few pages covering a Grand Prix, no great detail or behind the scenes or background info.

Le Mans 24hrs covered in a few pathetic pages. You could fill the entire issue with info from the whole event!

F1 launches with the bare minimum detail. What about features on the teams to go with car launches.

I suppose I remember autosport being in its prime in the days when info on motor racing wasn't so accessible on the internet. Each Thursday used to be when you got all your information and it was fresh info.
They don't seem to realise that they need to be producing content that you CAN'T read online. Longer articles that people won't have the patience to read on a website, stuff about the teams that websites miss because they seem to make assumptions that everyone knows who is who and what's happening. There are many more casual fans than dedicated ones. It wouldn't take much to make these casual ones into dedicated ones with the right articles and writers.
