No idea; but as I get two tickets for £90 for 3 days at the world's biggest Historic event I am not complaining too much frankly. I have a lot of history with Silverstone having first gone there over 40 years ago but I am the first to acknowledge that as a spectator the 'viewing experience' is dire with huge run off areas and no real chance to get close to the track.Village is OK but Bridge is hugely missed if not as much as Club in the 70s and 80 s when you wee close to the cars and they were going at massive speed.

Can't actually say Donington is much better either as aesthetically and in every other aspect it has got worse since its relaunch in 78,

The view from the infield down Craners used to be superb until they dug it all up but I take your point about it not progressing much yes.
