I think his family have handled this very well, it is a terrible situation, we can all imagine us in their place frown

I hope for the best for him though I have to say as an outsider I am not very hopeful given the information learned. I would be so happy to be proved wrong though.

All the best Jules and family.

To be fair he did retract that later in the thread.

I saw this posted elsewhere at the weekend. I thought he was already out of the artificial coma, or am I thinking of Schumi?

Seems rather out of date (the news about him breathing unaided has been in the public domain for a long time ) , and not very well written, " Jules Bianchi, 25, met a fatal car accident at the Japanese Grand Prix last October 5, 2014" . . . . . thankfully not.

That's such sad reading, what a terrible situation. Nice is so, so close to Monaco too - what a difference a year can make.

"Hope for the best, expect the worst"

His family are being very strong, and very dignified.

I hope if there is "someone" up there he looks down on them & agrees that merits recognition.

Life is so bloody fragile, and we take so much for granted, yet it can all be taken in the blink of an eye, for any of us. . . cerebral haemorrhage for example, one minute 100% , next second, someone switches the lights out . . . .forever.

Thought provoking at least, hope the best for the lad.

Agreed. I am pleased that his family are being realistic about the prospects for his recovery rather than being blindly optimistic though.
