Indeed. Unfortunately it doesn't contain Brundle who for years has been saying those thing are dangerous every time he sees one.

Do they really need a panel of all this lot just to tell us what we already know ie. Beanci was going way too fast and failed to acknowledging the flags.

Maybe he was asked and said he was busy? It's not jury duty.

Who knows? Does it matter why though? Either way I think it would be an opportunity for him to influence a change that he believes in. I also think it's a real shame that despite the concerns he has made quite public for years, and I do assume his opinion is as well respected within F1 as it is outside, it has still taken Bianchi's accident to instigate some action. Of course on the other hand I don't know what may have already been discussed and concluded away from the public eye about the JCBs. Before Bianchi it wouldn't have been a newsworthy topic.

They is a "he" - Joe Saward who blogs extensively with good insight for free. Go correct him on his blog comments - I know he loves that kind of critique...

Yes, I saw Joe's name. I assumed (incorrectly, it would appear) that the first paragraph was quoted from an FiA statement.

I certainly won't be mentioning it to Joe though - I've always enjoyed reading his site.

I just thought I'd take the piss out of the FiA not being able to spell 'panel' - I don't particularly like them! smile
