Does anyone not have a penalty this weekend?

Did that lap by Lewis put Seb outside 107%?
Seriously? 107% on a 100 second lap is 7 seconds. Seb wasn't even the slowest in that session, let alone 7 seconds off the pace.

I see Grosjean has a Matt Le Blanc helmet this weekend - is this some weird sponsorship tie-in or are these helmet designs getting a bit ttish?
Well apparently Le Blanc was more interested in eating lunch in the hospitality tent than watching the cars in qualifying. Maybe just as well considering Grosjean's performance.

Ros currently fastest (Q2) 1.37.099

Q1 107% time = 1.43.999

Ros now 1.36.290

From F1 timing.

Brilliant lap from Rosberg.

As to the 107% time, Brundle explained that its set on the Q1 time, so any further faster laps don't push Vettel further out.

Nico's Q2 lap was quicker than last year's pole. Is that the first time the new formula cars have been quicker than last year's?

Hamilton has been locking wheels all weekend, not happy with the brakes, should have sorted it sooner.

Great lap by Nico, we'll have to see if he can keep that advantage over 56 of them.

Any boycott that might have happened just got killed by Sutil in Q3.

Shame Lewis only managed P2 but it's not over yet.

Anyway, time for me to watch Strictly.

Well Nico really did that well, impressive lap.

Great lap from Nico, Lewis just didn't seem on it.

Lewis' race pace has been stronger this year so it's still far from over. I think the race will be closer with Lewis taking it.

That was by far Lewis' fastest lap of the weekend so far. Nico was just faster on the day.

If be shocked if, save any genuine car issues, Lewis isn't quicker through the race.

I like to see Hammo do well, but Rosberg - despite all the undeserved negative press - deserves the title, too.

Honestly, in my head I'm cheering for them both. It's bloody confusion.

He's looked happy all weekend, unlike Lewis, who's struggled with his braking all weekend so far.

Still, no points for pole.

Nicos lap was superb, Hamilton puts a lot of confidence in brakes, if he isn't happy with them it has a big effect in him.

Note that the pole was quicker than last years.

Press conference a bit later with Bernie, Monisha, Mallya & Lopez no doubt on small team survival.
