Lotus Twin Tusk Nose.

Did anyone ever work out why the two tusks on the current Lotus nose are different lengths?

They're technically not both noses, the longer one is the nose, the shorter is a crash structure.

I believe it is because there can only be one 'front' of the car, so they have to be different lengths.
