Yep .... BBC says so --> http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/30055510

Hopefully the driver negotiations don't involve anybody ridiculously unsuitable ....

Who's going to fill the vacant seat?

On another thread Woof has offered to pony up £36,000 for a Caterham drive. With my crowd-funding addition that could be £36,010.

Are we expecting to see Kobayashi partnering Woof then? because he hasn't been in that seat at every race this year and probably doesn't have a spare 36k sterling knocking about.

Autosport is reporting Lotterer is saying he has been offered the Caterham seat for Abu Dhabi. Interesting stuff if he takes it and they show up.

Looking at some of the F1 News sites, they seem to think Chilton and KK will be in the Caterhams.

I believe a team is only allowed to race four different drivers per season.

SniffPetrol today, on the subject of Sauber solving their money worries:

"Sauber has solved its current financial troubles by ceasing to be an F1 team and instead becoming a German court charging Bernie Ecclestone with bribery."

I had a dream last night that Lewis had an issue in Quali and had to start the race from the pitlane. He only managed to finish 3rd, gifting Nico the championship.

I wonder if I should give William Hill a call wink

Plausible, Williams have the pace now to potentially hold off a challenge from a Merc from that far back.

Just read Joe Saward on the subject of Forza Rossa. After the Romanian elections, it now looks unlikely there will be in F1 in 2015.

Is it just my assumption that they were the likely buyer for Caterham?

Rosberg will cleverly engineer an accident scenario in which hamilton is judged to have caused deliberately and fia disqualify him from the championship.

Williams cars will be the jokers in that pack.

Like one of the insurance fraud cases? Rosberg jumps on the brakes and Hamilton goes into the back of him, getting into trouble because he didn't leave enough of a space to brake in? wink

I do have a strong feeling that come now on sunday there's going to be some rather enthusiastic discussion about the difference between aggressive racetrack denial and deliberately causing a collision. That will cycle for several years. And evan though it hasn't occurred yet most of arguers know exactly what happened.
