Whilst not being a Rosberg fan, I'm fking sick of reading that Rosberg is NOT German. He very definatly IS: he was born in Wiesbaden, his mother is German. I suppose she wanted to give birth in der Vaterland
And I'm equally sick of reading that Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, based in Brackley, UK, is a German team and are hence going to favour a German driver. And for the record, Nico Rosberg holds dual German and Finnish nationality and grew up in Monaco. Yes, his mother is German and he was born in Germany, but his father is Finnish and he did not grow up in Germany. Nico has raced under both Finnish and German nationalities.
My point was that neither Nico or Mercedes AMG Petronas are wholly German and I stand by that statement for the reasons I have just given.

They changed the law a few years ago for certain nationalities: I'm British ( yorkshire lad ), and have been in Germany for over 30 years now. Since they changed the law I could have dual nationality if I wanted it. Costs about €200, peanuts really, but I can't be arsed to fill in the forms
Your German accent must be a real source of entertainment Interesting that they have now changed the law, about time given globalisation and all that stuff. The one (the only!) good thing about the EU, there is no need to get "localised" to stay in another EU country.

I am working logic that whenever there is this level of hysteria surrounding F1, rules changes, driver moves, tyres, etc, the actual event turns out to be a real let down.
I reckon this weekend as far as the race goes, is going to be a real let down, why:
1) Abu Dhabi frequently produces races that make Monaco look interesting
2) Hamilton as won here before
3) Apart from Brazil, Nico hasn't out raced Lewis, excluding DNF's and the races where Hamilton has been out of postion in the grid
4) Even if Rosberg repeats Brazil, fastest in every session, pole and race win, that isn't enough, he is reliant on what Hamilton does

Part of me would be relieved if it all pans out as you have painted and Abu Dhabi produces another dull procession in which Hamilton finishes first or second.I reckon this weekend as far as the race goes, is going to be a real let down, why:

I sometimes feel I'm caught between two worlds: the Germans find my accent when speaking german hilarius, and when I'm visiting the family in Huddersfield they accuse me of speaking english with a german accent. Dammned if you do, and dammned if you don't....
If only some of these non-English speakers could hear themselves speaking in their own native tongue I live in Turkey and some Turks cannot speak their own language properly. And they think I sound odd!

For all the talk of caterham scoring points to beat saulber and maurrasia where the hell are they going to get the performance to get close to points.
Let the team die and move on what point are they trying to make with this while letting go of all the employes don't get it myself.
They don't need performance to get the points. Send one of the cars straight down the grid into the first corner, taking out a lot of cars at the back. Then get points with the other car. This will be helped by the collisions at the front when Hamilton also takes out Rosberg in the first corner, before retiring later in the race due to reliability problems. It is later found out that these were engineered into the car to help the German win, but Hamilton negated this with his first corner move to take him out. Both Hamilton and Rosberg are disqualified from the season and Riciarrdo wins the driver's championship.Let the team die and move on what point are they trying to make with this while letting go of all the employes don't get it myself.
