Both Redbull cars DQ from qualiy. I guess they will be allowed to start from pit lane or maybe back of the grid.
Could spice up the race a bit!

BBC says they are excluded. Does that mean the back of the grid (what about Grosjean?) or pit lane.

Apparently they have to fix them (stiffen it up a bit) or not race.

Back of the grid I think. Their times were deleted. Bet Will Stevens didn't expect to have the World Champion starting behind him on his F1 debut!

Lee McKenzie just tweeted this. Sounds like they're being a bit sore about it.

Surely the thing to do is report the other teams.

Rosberg wins with Lewis 3rd. Both Mercs disqualified after the race for having flexxy front wings. Lewis is champion biggrin

Or you know, not.

That'll be worth a watch tomorrow, I wonder who will make the most progress? What a way for Vettel to end his Red Bull career.

Indeed, it's going to be fun to see which of them can punch through the midfield faster. I'd be looking at riccardo myself, but should be interesting

I can't imagine Vettels motivation will be terribly high.

I thought it was Rosberg after his engineer didn't sufficiently woohoo him.

Great opportunity to see what Vettel will be like versus Kimi in 2015... running from midfield backwards and being upstaged by an unfancied team mate. He has a lot staked on next year. If he fails to comprehensively beat Kimi, his past record will be tainted as mostly Newey's designs and not his racecraft that brought his success.

Despite it being clear cut I'm sure Horner will have a right bloody whinge about it.

I think it was Irvine who said, "there is Senna, Schumacher and Newey". Or something like that.

As you say unless Vettel thrashes Kimi, Vettel's legacy will be that of a journey man. Ricci has already seen to half of that. Sadly Webber doesn't compare too well now, but people seem to like him.

I think Webber would have been equal/ slightly better than Vettel this season. Very different type of car, and you saw they were pretty equal until the downforce started working fully for Vettel.

Referring to the press conference.
Of all the things Rosberg has said and done, I don't see anything wrong with this. Asked a question, he honestly replies that he'd prefer a bit of a buffer between him and his championship rival. Why not? It's true, understandable, and was nearly on the cards. It's not like he said "well, it would have been better for me if Lewis had spun off in a fiery ball"

I would say bitter. I think they probably are in a very good position to know that other teams are doing it, and so do feel singled out...

I wonder if the FIA were watching the Sky F1 feed then as they showed a real slo-mo of a Red Bull taking a corner and the wing flexing and scraping off the ground...
