LH will try and out qually NR and mess it up and end up well down, or at back of the grid. Probably smashed up car so no qually and start from the pit lane - he will battle through the field with most of the cars he passes almost taking him out (who is NR's best buddy?)

LH will harry NR to the line.

Prediction:
NR
LH
JB

Most think NR will win & will be fastest in qualifying, but that LH will win.

I think LH will be fastest in qualifying, and the rest is his to lose.

What’s a hot lap with Kimi Raikkonen in a Ferrari F12 really like?

I thought they might in Brazil, but I wouldn't be surprised if both Mercs are left in a smoking pile of shattered carbon about 20 seconds after the race starts.

I think Lewis has really matured now, he'll go hell for leather in Quali but if he loses out to Rosberg he'll complete lap after lap of the race 2 seconds behind him and 10 ahead of the next guy. Boring as that might be.

Much as Lewis idolises Ayrton Senna, I don't think he'll emulate his hero in that regard. smile

Nope. His dad has the right values as has Lewis. You talk on the track, you play fair, you win fair.

Qualifying will be interesting. I think the pressure will be on Nico, so he will be more likely to make a mistake. Lewis knows that a front row start will probably be enough, whereas Nico knows that only pole will do. He can't have Lewis starting ahead and vanishing off into the distance. Of course if Lewis does qualify ahead of Lewis, Nico knows that the first lap is a good time to try and take the lead, so he could do something a bit marginal and hope that Lewis backs out of a possible collision.

Free practice will be interesting to see who's on top and how that will likely impact the weekend.

What's the latest thinking on Caterham? Presumably unless they've raised all the money by today/tomorrow it's a total non-starter, as it'll take several days to get whatever they can salvage over to Abu Dhabi.

And Woof needs to get a Superlicense, obviously!

Except for the small matter in Australia 2009 which ended Dave Ryan's 25 year career at McLaren.

If a collision between Lewis and Nico looks likely as a result of Nico getting desperate, Nico would have more to lose if both cars got taken out, so I can't see Lewis backing out of a situation like that.

They will both get a chance to win the championship again, they cannot afford to spoil their reputation with MB.

I'd be somewhat surprised if that turns out to be true.

They both have a damn good chance this year, with just 1 race to go. They are very well matched.

I expect they will be both be equally competitive next year, in probably what will still be the best car on the grid.

Hmmm, not sure PDR would agree about AH's 'values'. Nor the Courts.

Lewis doesn't have to beat Nico, but Nico has got to beat Lewis. Lewis can let Nico past and still be WDC. Why risk another Spa?

Hamilton to punt Rosberg off the track, both DNF and Lewis takes the WDC.

It would be fair and just.

And Senna would approve, looking down from above.
