The original B&H Jordan in 1996 was a sort of mustard yellow, up until Monaco, when it was re-painted gold. I understand they needed to figure out a shade of gold that wouldn't look awful on TV - but I may have made that up in my imagination
I think it was the other way around; they started with the same shade of gold as a B&H fag packet, it looked awful, then they changed to yellow and stuck with it.No time I can find but rumours of a black livery for testing - http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns29842.html
Well that was fking terrible.
I'm getting really tired of the amount of marketing McLaren are putting out about the old McLaren Honda from the late 80s. Even before testing has started I'm sick to death of seeing it on Facebook and Twitter.
Once the season starts they'll be wallowing down in the mid field like last year and it will all quieten down a bit.
Unliking and unfollowing them for now though.

Lets go back to a time when our car was competativeI've never seen the F1 team as boring. They used to do tooned and other promo stuff that was absolutely fine for who they are. I just think the video is complete codswallop.
Edit: By that I mean they don't need to be doing silly videos. Lotus do silly stuff that is actually quite good. Also Jenson got the 'no roads' quote wrong.

McLaren can't win with some people can they. How often are they accused of being boring and corporate and having no sense of humour and that is a bad thing. So they do something like this video and get criticised for it.
Lighten up guys, McLaren have!
I found it funny in a "this is so terrible that you have to laugh". They knew it was terrible, but that was the point behind it. Along the lines of films like Sharknado. Lighten up guys, McLaren have!
