Didn't Ron do exactly the same last year? We kept hearing about potential tie ups with big names such as Samsung or Sony and nothing ever came of it. The man's deluded. This Honda engine best be good!As a long time Mclaren fan I really hope it is.
The encouraging thing I saw reported from today's press briefing Ron Dennis held was that he said the concept of a title sponsor is no longer valid which indicates that he is not aiming for (or has given up on) getting one major one in the way Vodafone were most recently for them. Probably true that there are no single sponsors willing to spend that amount, with the exception of Red Bull I guess.

Ted's notebook just said he spoke to Ron about changing the colour...and Ron said "where's your cheque book"...as in the colour will change when someone stumps up the money.London424 said:
