Rubens only retired at the end of last season, he's still race fit, he has experience in KERS equipped cars, Pirelli tyres, modern F1 in general... and we're talking about a one-off here, for a team who needs that experience not a hot-headed kid straight out of the simulator with only a day and a half of testing.
