If you need any help identifying any of that feel free to PM me. There's one bit you won't have - because it's here on my shelf
I thought about bidding for stuff but the prices have got out of hand, plus I've already got loads of stuff that I don't need, I'm half tempted to put what I have got on eBay and see what it makes.
Martyn can you email me as it won't let me pm you on this sodding phone.I thought about bidding for stuff but the prices have got out of hand, plus I've already got loads of stuff that I don't need, I'm half tempted to put what I have got on eBay and see what it makes.
All help greatfully accepted

the brian james shuttles went for 7500 each! and the large F1 trailers were about 60 odd grand
Just crazy pricing - I went down in the hope of picking them up for stock (we have buyers lined up) but at just shy of £10k including the taxes & fees they went for way above their value. We sold a mint 2011 last week for £8500 and I viewed these two, one had a fair bit of damage at the rear.As others have said, it'll be interesting to see how many deals are completed. With no financial registration (credit card or deposit), there is nothing to stop anyone just running prices up for the fun of it.

prices were mad, £650 for a bench mounted Clark 10t press, they are 220 new from machine mart!
I bought the air tools (impact gun, die grinders etc.) which weren't a bad price really and will always get used, no invoice from them yet but think everyone is in a similar situation.
One of the proper trailers went at a pretty good price for what it was and had some decent kit on board too.

Managed to buy one more lot on the way home which should have some value from when I viewed it but certainly didn't come away with anything like planned.
Jon, did you view the boxes of model stuff? There's heaps. Was quite keen myself but was driving at the time. You'll need more than an estate to collect them all.
I had them invoice me whilst there today for lots bought in the flesh but nothing for the web purchase yet which considering they want payment by Friday will probably make it tight for some assuming they don't live in front of online banking.
I tried to find out what happened in the event of winners not paying. One of them seemed pragmatic and suggested they will go into the Jan auction with the 2014 cars and parts, the other claimed they would pursue legally as its a binding contract.

Well, I paid for my 4 alloys, via BACs overnight.
So far I have had 3 phone calls as they can't find the payment, or the invoice, or the transaction. Despite me sending them copies of emails, the invoice they sent me and copies of BACs details.
I'm not holding out much hope I'll be able to collect the goods tomorrow am.

Currently some muppet is bidding £290 each for 15 folding tables (lot 1327). That's a total of £4350.
That's plus buyers premium and VAT, so nearly £6k. They're £35 new.andylaurence said:
