Any ideas how much the wheel would go for? I must confess that simulator looks worse than the one I have in mind (but it requires a Euromillions win!).

That sim wasn't all that. It's very well used and really a promotional item rather than anything fancy.

Not for me to say, can only speculate. All I can add - it's worth bidding for.
You're interested in the said item, after all.

How depressing would it be for that to be your F1 team simulator biggrin Perhaps they rented time on another team's because I can't find a proper simulator in the listing?

They likely did rent one. There are dedicated places with proper F1 simulators and it would be cheaper for them to book that for the day rather than go to the expense of their own system. They can develop their cars and import into the simulator anyway so not such a disadvantage to not have their own.

Well, if it was 1k I might be able to get away with that (major Chrimbo pressie!) but over that, not much chance... I can't imagine it being less than 5k though?!?!

As for that simulator, there is one I want for a Euromillions win - it was 90k or something.

You're seriously overvaluing that simulator. It's a standard playseat, 26" old LCD monitor, Logitech G27 with a flight case to put it in. It's £300-£400 max. You'd buy it all brand new for under £1k

You misunderstand, the one that I want is 90k. Not their one. It is actually a little formula 1 car base thing with a racing seat etc.. Looks awesome. BUT it is a Euromillions win kind of toy..

Ouch, 10% premium on purchases then 20% VAT on top of that, something to watch out for if you are a fan trying to grab a bargain.

Although I noticed most stuff is batched in multiple bundles ie 4 wheels, 100 hats which fans don't want anyway.

Oh right! Sorry I didn't see that, do you have a link for it or a photo? Sounds superb!

They wont want 1000 fans turning up to pick up a hat post the auction, that would be too much hassle for the return. If you bid and win, you have to drive to Banbury to collect or arrange your own courier who has to go in and collect it, then sort the shipment. So the auction is not really aimed at fans wanting a small item.

A friend has just been over here, he went to the viewing on Friday and they were apparently charging £25 a head to go and view the stuff.
