Marussia Manor auction
Discussion
There is another online auction taking place between 13 January & 21 January.
Two of the 2014 cars, minus engine, are being auctioned along with a Super Aguri F1 car, three Dallara GP3 cars, full trackside race set of equipment, tools & accessories and air freight containers.
Must be a shed load of stuff if they are running the auction for 8 days!!

You can see why the Chilton's wanted to keep it going / find a new owner - they are owed rather a lot of money $4.75mKevlardave said:
So that's what the guys I spoke to at the factory last week meant when they bemoaned the amount of money raised at the December auctions...
Love the £2.23 still owed to Snap On
Halfords and Stahlwille were the only tool odds and sods I clocked during viewing
It's interesting that the really good stuff was no longer there.Love the £2.23 still owed to Snap On

Funny isn't it, the largest creditors are other F1 teams, or operating companies in the same groups, which goes to prove that all the stuff spoken about the large teams supporting the small teams was complete rubbish.
I disagree - it seems that Ferrari and McLaren were supporting Marussia, along with Pirelli. Taking the McLaren figure that isn't the amount of debt run up in a month or two so they supported them by not calling time on the debts earlier. As a result of the Marussia failure Ferrari are £16.6m down and Mclaren £7m - that is a lot for them to lose and a big financial support in interest free loans/gift.andyps said:

And again interesting that you seem to be able to run an F1 car without any tools as all of the workbenches etc seem to be empty...
If they bought from Snap-On they would just take the tools back if they hadn't been fully paid for?I suspect lots of tools might have been taken by mechanics who haven't been paid, rightly so.

I wonder if the finishing prices are going to be a bit more sensible this time round after the auction fever which set in last time?
On that note the wing which was up for £2500 on ebay now has a starting bid of £1500, making it still more expensive than the two Redbull wings available...
