Mclaren's 2015 final constructor position?

I voted 7th before the season started, I bet they'd take that if it were on offer now. Truly shocking performance from McLaren, if it's a single season blip is recoverable, if not they'll struggle to claw their way back to the front.

I voted 9th before the season started. I wouldn't want to be sitting round a table at a McLaren management meeting with unseen Ron's finger hovering over the button while stroking his white cat.

(I know the engine's many horses down, but Ron's much more likely to be SPECTRE Number 1 than some random Honda exec. The MTC even looks like a Bond villain lair.)

I assumed incorrectly that Sauber would go pop and would be out of it, unfortunately I was correct in that McLaren would be in the dog doo and be at the back.

What a shocking year for them.

Unless Honda make massive improvements over the winter it could be even worse for McLaren next year, Manor have got Mercedes engines for 2016 and a deal with Williams for technical support so might not be the pushover they were this season. Without a decent engine McLaren have no chance.

So the big question for next year will manor and hass beat them considering one is a Ferrari b team and the other has a merc engine and partnership with Williams.
