does make you wonder though...

two cars used both on non-UK plates.

then you read stories like this:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2864952/My...

"Mr Lazar, 36, a part-time self-employed scrap metal collector"
Yep, that was my first thought too. In fact it was probably everyone's first thought...

Yup. It's not like you think they'd dump them as they were surprised at the response.

Guess this was a tipoff?

Just been chatting on Facebook to the lady that found them.
Apparently she saw one of them, or part of one of them floating in a lake whilst feeding the ducks.

That they were dumped in a lake, presumably after the knobs tried and failed to shift them on, shows what a senseless disrespectful crime this really was. Is there any hope of the bds being caught?

The BBC have a clip of the CCTV footage online now- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-he...

The louts are just throwing trophy's around and very disorganized by the look of it... almost as if the trophys weren't what they expected! (ie- plastic rather than precious metals)

Obviously stolen then as they're all locals (well apart from the Yorkshireman amongst them).

The fact that they tried to break open the ATM at Frimley Service Station using home made explosives obtained by dismantling fireworks tends to support this hypothesis.
