Worst F1 drivers to have won a race...?

Not sure the late Jack Brabham would quite agree . And Senna won 5 times was it because?
"Walking downstairs is easy.".....here's a guy who just fell down the stairs.
.....here's another guy who lives on the 50th floor.
Understanding context is the key to an intelligent discussion.

If you win the Monaco Grand Prix you can drive. End of.
If you start on pole it's actually the easiest race to win. Of course if you get pole at Monaco you can drive. But the fact that Jarno Trulli's only win was at Monaco only backs-up his reputation as someone who did his best work on a Saturday. Sunday was always a day of rest for poor old Jarno.

The man who managed to hit the wall on the way into the pits.
And once spun off on the formation lap. In the dry.
A bit unfair. Undoubtedly DC was not worthy of the Williams seat during that time but he went on to have a top career, solid #2 driver. Many drivers would be envious of DC's F1 CV.And once spun off on the formation lap. In the dry.
The irony of the argument is that DC led the McLaren revival with some wins and Mika was gifted a win at the 1997 European GP - which should have been won by DC if it wasn't for team orders.

And, also to be fair, the last time I looked, he had scored more points that any other British driver.
Just think about that. Moss, Clark, Hill, Surtees, Stewart, Hunt, Mansell, Hill, Button, Hamilton. All scored LESS points than DC. And if that doesn't prove what a farce the whole thing is, I don't know what does!
It proves the the points system is different in different eras and is a less than reliable way of measuring someones success.Just think about that. Maldonado on that day drove excellently to hold off a very determined Fred. I'd say he thoroughly deserved the win.
That would have been the day that he had a those special Maldonado tyres that were delivered for his car only ? That race was a total fix. I honestly believe that a deal was done on that day for him to win.
Williams, and particularly Maldonado, were quite competitive in early 2012. He harried Alonso for 5th place in the season opener, and was battling with Hamilton for 3rd in Valencia. He was in the front running mix in Monaco qualifying until his thuggish Perez wheel banging moment.
It was an unusual win, but not a fluke. Williams seemed to have a better handle on the quirky 2012 tyres than many other teams at that stage of the year.
O maybe, Maldonardo had special tyres made, in a massive conspiracy involving everyone from paid off fia officials to a pirelli black ops division just so some chimp could "win" a race.
Really, you choose.

You know, I wouldn't put it past Bernie to ask the Pirelli guys to do just that.Really, you choose.
