yowsers thats a busy front wing.....
Seems the back end is largely similar to last year (visually at least) and that the main changes are the front with a nose form like the McLaren.
looks good though - no ugly protrusions etc...

Why change perfection eh? It should be the class of the field again.

(I am not saying it's exactly the same)

From the side view, the airbox intake looks slightly lower and further forward than the W05, but the rest of the lines look almost identical.
No cut away around the rear arms and the rear vane appears to run down further.
W05

The nose is different too (I think they all might be though).

Indeed. On the few occasions we *really* saw them uncork that car it had 2 seconds a lap on the field in race trim. Bahrain was one, there was another couple of races with similarly shocking pace, buth I can't remember which ones.

Looks like a lot more of an undercut on the rear of the engine under the sidepod on the W06 too.

Looks like they have been a bit more aggressive on cooling/packaging as everything around the engine seems tighter/ lower (airbox, sidepods, undercut, etc).

The side pods look alot slimmer and narrow more quickly as you move backwards- just what everyone else needed- a quicker Mercedes :-)

Unless they've made a monumental cock up this year is surely Lewis best chance to secure WDC#3 that he has always said he wanted

It might just be those pictures but the newer car looks to have a shorter wheelbase

sidepods are a differnt top profile, the concave dip at the rear is gone

could be my eyes but the turning vanes around the front of the sidepods are further back too.

Singapore? When Lewis had to make the time for his pitstop?

Unless the rest of the pack have seriously copied those Mercs they are likely to run away with it again. Be interesting to see what changes they have made under the skin.

Possibly. I recall it being Lewis, and a pit stop was involved, I can't remember where though.
