I'm sure it wasn't just that Seb used it, it is to gain some attention in the tests and try to stop their competitors seeing what they are doing. But why did he need to say it was because of something worn by an ex-driver is my real point - he has gone to a competitor now so move on Christian.

I honestly don't see why it means he is not 'moving on'. He was asked a question, he answered it.

Maybe he just really like Seb's helmet (fnar fnar etc etc) - I honestly think you've just interpreted it as the reason you'd like it to be.

Maybe I have, it just seems odd to me. I can't imagine Ferrari saying they have something visual (rather than functional) on the car which was based on something from Alonso.
