Force India - No Tub

The tub is reported to still be at the suppliers in Portsmouth. The usual supplier had a problem, so it went to another company, the other company, being sensible seeing recent F1 problems has asked for the cash before releasing the chassis.
The chassis haven't past crash test, so until they are released Force india won't be much of a force. Hence they stone walled Marussia, the £450,000 they will get from Marussia not winning is a big deal to them
I read somewhere is was 4m. Not sure is $ or £.The chassis haven't past crash test, so until they are released Force india won't be much of a force. Hence they stone walled Marussia, the £450,000 they will get from Marussia not winning is a big deal to them

The tub is at a supplier in Plymouth, hence no crash test, no running etc. Force India based at Silverstone. I believe the company doing the work is called Formaplex?Any which way, even side show Bob said suppliers were not helping out since Caterham went bust, and why should they? FI were one of the slowest payer in F1
Most of the sponsors are VJ's own companies, Telemex are clever, i doubt they have just handed over £10m, most likely performance related or you get some money when we see a car on the grid in Oz. Payments from Bernie I believe kick in during the season?
I hope FI survive, last thing F1 needs is another team going under.

Vijay Mallya thanked Mercedes for the 'opportunity' to run Wehrlein.
"Pascal is an exciting young talent who has already proved he has what it takes to be successful at the highest level," he said.
"As a reserve driver for Mercedes, he's clearly destined for a career in Formula 1 and I'm sure the test will be a positive experience on both sides.
"This is also a clear demonstration of our strong working relationship with our engine partner, Mercedes-Benz, and I thank them for their collaboration."
Code for - Mercedes have forced us to act as their 'B Team' or they won't deliver us any power units I think...
