From reading she was on a slow outlap and Nasr has tried to go round the outside and hit her...she says not her fault.

In other news Kimi goes faster than the last pole position time. 1.25.167
Well at least Ferrari can say they've improved in testing if nothing else. Whether they've made an improvement when it comes to race day is a different matter though.

Just read on Autosport that Rosberg has a trapped nerve in his neck so might not be able to drive tomorrow! Not going too well for Mercedes so far!

I was wondering if Rosberg's dodgy neck was a hangover from his marathon 160 odd laps of Jerez? Trust Mercedes to make a car so reliable that the driver breaks down first...

I had to go and double check that. It is/was actually true.

Whenever Wolff drives the Williams, something bad always happens.

Some would argue her DTM results say everything about whether she should be in an F1 car or not.

7 years in DTM, and managed to score a total 4 points, all in 2010 (Wikipedia tells me). I honestly had no idea her trophy cabinet was so bare.

Shocking doesn't quite cover it... But if it means Williams get a hefty discount in return for letting Toto's Mrs have a go in the car, and get the extra publicity of 'woman in F1 blah blah' then it's worthwhile in that respect. It doesn't seem worth it from a development perspective anyway.

The guys writing for the Autosport live feed definitely weren't that supportive - "still the slowest though" and "finally overtakes Hamilton" etc.

It's testing not racing, he was passing and he cut back in too soon. The car making the pass is the one that needs to make sure it's clear before getting back on line. She was going slow (outlap) and kept to her line.

He was on the softer tyre.

Looks like Mercs having reliability troubles, but in this case just drivers.

Anyone see the smoky McLaren this morning? Like an old banger being started up that's been sitting for a while!

I'll try and find the pic.

Isn't that what many on here were saying about Hamilton a few seasons ago?

The difference being that Alonso has form for doing so... if at the end of his career he only has 2 WDC in the cabinet, it will be principally down to his off track decisions rather than his car or his on track ability.
