F1 Melbourne GP - where to go?

I read this forum quite a lot but rarely post.

Am on holiday in Aus from next week and just blagged flights down to Melbourne to go to the GP on the Sunday and have General Admission.

I get to Melbourne Saturday afternoon and have Saturday and Sunday after the race to kill before I fly home.

Where in Albert Park is a good spot to watch the race from? and whats the best way to kill time on a weekend in Melbourne?

I would probably say the mound at T10. Get there early to get a good spot at the top of the hill. There is a camera around there too so you will probably find yourself on tv. I did during the V8 supercar race coverage! For quali, I had upgraded to the premium zone and had tickets at T15. Good spot especially if you manage to get seats there.

Prahran isn't too far from the track and there are some good spots to eat/drink around chapel st.
