I've just been talking to my mate who went 2 years ago in a motor home. He said they direct you in and park you up in order as you arrive, so I assume you won't all be able to congregate in one area, I'm in the green zone and will be happy as long as I'm not right next door to the techno dj's.

if the dutchies are down, welcome to the 10,000 watt sound system they bring in a van, can be heard all over the campsite and the fireworks they bring makes iraq look tame

I'm not sure how it will work setting up a PH corner (to be honest I don't even know what car we're in!). If it's any help I will post up on here when I get there with what car / where we are / how many beers we have chilling etc!

I always use dover to dunkerque with dgds as we live in Kent and there are always at Calais these days. Stack has been a mare but its off right now so you should be ok. But there are the immigrants at Calais and the risks of striking.

Take a16 north then pick up e40 and just follow to Brussels. Round the ring road and keep going. Then take the e42 down to spa.

Always take the car down to prum and across to the ring as only 90 mins on a good day from spa.

Spa is one of my fave tracks and places to watch f1. The speeds they achieve in the fast corners are just mind boggling. Watching them go through eau rouge and pouhon is awesome. Then through blanchimont defies logic and physics!!

Sadly due to work we won't actually make it until Friday afternoon, boo..., we'll be in the old man's Mondeo, complete with a number plate fit for the dodgy plate thread!

What's the best way to get tickets at this point? We booked the eurotunnel (all a bit last minute), but can't get e-tickets off the F1 or the official Spa track website now....

Gootickets seems to do e-tickets - anyone familiar with it?

We're planning on going GA (did that last year, was great), and will be arriving down late Friday evening in an unconfirmed vehicle. Only 2-3 of us so will probably try out the Green Zone party central.... What's the deal with getting a plot arriving on the Friday?

We are getting to the campsite friday AM.

With regards to GA tickets the camping said (we have someone that has only just decided to come) that we can buy tickets at the track.

I rememeber it was miles away to get them but she said it;s near the camping site?

I think you can only buy tickets at the track now, the website shut down for ticket purchasing on the 8th of August IIRC...

My boys are going (husband & son-in-law) and I'm starting to get quite jealous now! Road trips usually involve me & himself!

Himself's first F1 and he is now feeling pretty smug that son-in-law talked him into this as today we have got them blagged into Porsche's pits - hope you all enjoy the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup too biggrin

I'm not looking forward to the M25 I've missed the ferry before now due to that carpark.

Ordered mine from bookf1.com on Sunday night. They arrived this morning. Just checked their website and they're still available. I believe if you order through them they will get them to you at the track

Not last time I was there in 100%, but the on-area tannoy does 50%. It's not as good now they've done away with the Kangaroo TV.
