A bit like a teapot.
And they say today's cars are ugly! Sheesh.

confused Sorry I don't get that. It's a red Ferrari with stickers. The thread is about best liveries not your favourite car.

I was also quite partial to this - wasn't a bad car either

Damn good shout. Shame Panis had his crash in Canada the 97 Prost was a genuine contender.
Is that not the 98 car?

It's a shame that there seem to be some colours we don't see a lot of, the most popular liveries on the thread seem to be green, blue or yellow and yet we've rarely seen them on cars.

Why does it always have to be black or silver?

For worst livery, how about the 1976 Surtees?

ideaJust think: if Olivier Panis had been around to drive for Surtees in 76, and Autosport had published a photo with the caption "Panis in a Durex": just one tiny typo would have raised a few chuckles.biglaugh

(Sorry, I'm being very childish now.getmecoat As you were, gentlemen.)

biggrin Terrible sponsor but a plain white livery with a couple of 70's coloured bars is hardly the worst! Also- those rear tyres! eek

Might be my age, but when Damon finly got his "mee too" raised nose Williams, I thought it looked great. Shame it took him a year to do something with it!

Liked the colour scheme of the BMW years too, but the sponsors killed it a bit.

Tyres don't look grooved in that pic but it is hard to zoom into.

Edit. Google image search says it is a 98. My bad.

I agree that the white colour looks fine with the front stripes - but the sponsor name kills the overall niceness of the livery for me.wobble

And the ever winner of these debates is a black lotus with stickers..

I'd forgot how good these looked, the car and livery were brilliant. Should've been the livery for the factory Honda team.

And Minardi had some good liveries:

And the March 'Beta' livery worked great with the added green:

Forgotten that one, what a cracker! Those early n/a cars were such beautiful designs, as pretty as the old 60's cars to my eyes.

I always loved Damon Hills Arrows, he very nearly won a race in it too! Bloody throttle linkage broke on the final lap!
