Nope, the rubber went off as it came down the back straight...

I know they didn't do that great save for a couple of podiums, but I always liked this livery -

Worst - Jordan Peugeot. Just a bunch of random sponsors & their corresponding colour, with no cohesion.

Another one I really liked, the Telefonica Minardi livery.

How about the first Toro Rosso car the STR1? I like it, probably more now than I did at the time.

STR1 looks great, they should keep the big bull graphic over the side of the car, and less Red Bull looking.

I've got that front wing endplate (though a bit worse for wear after it lost an argument with a crash barrier a few races later)....

The uppermost front wing element from the '99 car (again a nice livery), from one of Takagi's many banzai moments that season.

We used to know a mechanic at TWR (Lee Howell, if he's out there?), he got me all sorts of scrap bits like this.

Reading this has made me realise just what a mess F1 is in now in terms of sponsorship. Even the hopeless teams 10-20 years ago had a raft of sponsors helping to keep the teams afloat. Now we've got Manor with nothing, Mclaren with barely anything, Sauber with some Brazilian bank and nothing else.

It's a sad state of affairs watching F1 disappear up its own orifice.

It seems like there is something wrong with the photo doesn't it? As if it has been over-exposed or come out wrong, but sadly no, the famous red and white has turned yellowy gold & jaundiced.

This is the livery they ran in the 1986 Portuguese GP at Estoril on Keke Rosberg's McLaren in deference to the best-selling brand there being Marlboro Lights. This, unsurprisingly, was the only time these colours were run hurl

I was also quite partial to this - wasn't a bad car either

Yes that's the 98 car, and it was a pig lol.

I've always liked the 1994 Footwork..
