Blimey

Best thing about the website was the panel to the right with summary of the weekend's practice/quali/race start times.

They've now jazzed it up. Can you see what time the sessions actually start in UK time?

Next problem I'll have will be working out the free live timing.

New stuff is so tricky when you're the wrong side of 55 biggrin

It took me ages to find that too. Then you click the 'more details' link and it takes you to the circuit description that actually shows less detail in terms of up to date information.
Where is the current weather, the temperature, the 'countdown to next session' timer, fastest in session etc. The sidebar of live information was the most useful part of the F1 site and they have removed it.

Less is not more.

Glad it's not just me then!

It says there will still be the same limited live timing for free.
They're making the same advanced timing (sectors, tyre usage, etc) available for paying users on app and browser.

At least, when they finally link the app and browser users - that somehow isn't ready yet.

I used to like the old F1 site as it was good for answering the "What god-forsaken time do I have to get up to watch the GP?" question. Hit site and there it was, with option to switch between race/local time.

Tried that on the new one on my phone and after fighting through "We're going to start charging you for this half-arsed site" ads, failed to find it so just hit the ESPN F1 site, with it's much better F1 reporting knowing I'd find it under "2015 Season" -> "Australia Grand Prix".

Feel the official F1 site bookmark getting deleted...

This helpful chap has a fix for that. http://duncanstephen.co.uk/improve-the-user-experi... . Changes the line spacing a few other tweaks on the site (as long as you use Firefox/Chrome)

Oh for the love of cheese! Now ESPN have gone and changed their web site for the worse, hiding all the useful information.

Why is everyone making finding the qualifying/race start times in local and UK time so hard this year.
