The weirdest F1 fact

I thought Lee Mackenzie did a great job when she filled in for Jake Humphrey during the 2012 Olympics; much more knowledgeable and less wooden than Suzi Perry.
What annoys me more, is that there wasn't much love for Sp when she was doing MotoGP and it looks to be the same for F1, yet the Beeb keep her.I'm sorry, but Jenny Gow isn't much better either. She fronted MotoGP for two season and it was painfully obvious she didn't know what the heck she was talking about then. I watched the BBC's F1 pre-season show, which I quite enjoyed, but they did a pop quiz and all the commentators nailed nearly every question. I think Jenny got about 33%.
Are the broadcasters not interested in what the public want??
Thankfully, BT Sport did appear to listen to the fans and didn't sign the terrible cox and Parish to commentate on MotoGP.

I've seen this before - he's insistent that he (and only he) irons his own clothes before broadcast. And he's quite happy to do anyone else's if they're around when he has the board out.
Does this mean he does SP's clothes? Probably not, but he's certainly done a BBC journalist's shirt (the guy was following the F1 team a year or so back and doing a behind-the-scenes story).
DC really is one of the good guys. Happy to admit that he was never as quick as some of the others, but immensely pround of the fact that he was a runner up to Schumacher in 2001's WDC. He's also a very grounded man, who's made a life for himself out of the cockpit and cheerfully admits that although he loved his F1 career, he didn't have a problem giving it up.
when my dad was racing at silverstone in the early 90's he said "thats David Coulthard, go and get his autograph as he'll be an F1 driver one day". i asked him, he chatted to me for about 10 minutes, showed me all the toys he had in his massive motorhome, and showed me the garage where his car had been parked. good lad! always thought that if i met him at some point i'd remind himDoes this mean he does SP's clothes? I think Perry does a good job and has settled down after a nervous first season.
I agree, her knowledge and confidence have improved massively. I'm sure she would still admit bikes are her first love, but there is a guy who commentated on F1 for quite a few years who is the same.Corpulent Tosser said:
