I think they struggle with breathing.

What about the lap times before the safety car? Check out Vettel and Rosberg times. Identical tyres, fuel, conditions etc, Vettel faster.
You've been watching the SPECTRE trailer today haven't you?
I guess I just question things that don't seem logical, and with the recent calls for equalisation coinciding miraculously with Merc having their pants pulled down in the next race after 18 months of total domination it can lead to suspicion. Unless of course everything thinks F1 has always been nothing but totally fair and transparent?

Probably nothing in it, and for the sake of the sport, specworldwide and audience it was good to see Ferrari take a win.

Wow, you guys seem to get really upset about a rather innocuous blog post. Do you guys know that you do not HAVE to either read or comment on something you don't wish to? It's kind of cool, it's a system whereby those who wish to engage in some casual debate about life's little ups and downs can do so with other like minded people.
To be clear, I do not believe there is any requirement in the forum rules for you to comment or engage in threads you do not wish to. It really is quite a good system and generally works.

Ah, so the answer to my questions is "no" then.

Dear god man, please go and do a little reading about F1 before coming up with such claptrap.

No, I'm one of those 'have been watching, reading and following F1 for over 20 years' types that actually understands how Ferrari won today.

Unlike you.

Carry on.

Right you are. You must have good contacts inside Bernie's inner sanctum to be so sure of yourself, can you share any other opinions that you care to claim as fact based on this unique access?

Crack on yourself.

Bernie st himself after the first race that it was going to be a Merc whitewash season. Germany dropped from the calendar, audiences plummeting. What do you do.........
Did you notice how when Kimi got a puncture, he didn't pit. He deliberately carried on to drop tyre debris on the track to trigger a safety car, and when that failed, the Ferrari engined Sauber mysteriously goes off and triggers a safety car!
It's so obviously a fix!!! yikes

Let me guess this right, you think,

A: Mercedes would agree to look slow/poor.
B: Niki Lauda would agree to lose.

You were born after 1976 weren't you?

You didn't mention plan c, the lone gunman hiding behind the grassy knoll waiting to shoot out the Merc tyres. I was born in '66, I've seen these tactics used many times.

You have to say its odd. One year Mercedes are dominant with a brilliant british driver on the team. Now a modified ferrari takes it to them. Like 1956 all over again. How much lancia is in the ferrari SF15-T???

I think we need to be told. Nomex foil hats on, everyone...

(Does this mean torro rosso is maserati??)

The conspiracy is obvious all the way through ..subtle clues dropped along the way to the championship hinting at dastardly deeds...

for instance...Ecclestone hated the lack of engine noise.

" I would prefer Lauda cars" he said...

Is this not a clue...a portent to Mercedes winning?

I think so.

You just need to read the signs. Its all there.

Hamilton was 34 seconds ahead of Vettel in Oz, and probably could have been more if pushed harder. In Oz Hamilton was 1.4 seconds quicker in qualifying than Vettel, on a shorter lap than Malaysia.
So, did Ferrari find all of this time on the trip from Oz to Malaysia, at the airport perhaps? Or in Bernie's private jet?
At the start of the race, first few laps before the safety car, on the same tyres, Rosberg could not get anywhere near Vettel?

Bernie st himself after the first race that it was going to be a Merc whitewash season. Germany dropped from the calendar, audiences plummeting. What do you do.........
To explain the gap is simple, the temperature.

In oz, the cars weren't tyre limited to mercedes could use their extra bhp & better aero to stretch their legs. Also both drivers got a good set up.

This weekend was tyre limited, so it didn't matter if you had an extra 300 bhp, you wouldn't go much faster. Also both drivers never got settled with their cars, Lewis especially.

The Ferrari, is a typical Allison car, brilliant on its tyres, with good race tactics and Vettel driving a great race, they won. Merc still had an edge, maybe 0.2 a lap, screwed up their tactics and are heavier on tyres so had to pull their punches. So in Bahrain, low tyre deg track, racing at night, don't be surprised to find the mercs if they want be that 1.4 secs quicker a lap.

This is why you have to wait for first 4 races to really work out the form for the year. Mercedes have the quickest car, Ferrari have maybe the best car on its tyres, the Honda is a pile of poo etc

Not only that, Toto Wolff is named after Toto the dog in Wizard of Oz.......and if anyone saw the last race you'd agree that Mercedes really were, er, wizard in Australia.

Unfortunately the followup film Wizard of Malaysia was actually filmed as Four Frightened People hence Nico's being scared to fight for corners, the confusion on pitstops, and the worry over tyre wear.

Don't worry though, Mercedes will be back with a Shanghai Surprise in two weeks, if Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Additional AMG Performance Pack is anything to go by.

Love these conspiracy theories I don't know how people think this could happen. Bernie gives them a call and they agree to be slow for a weekend? What a strange world people live in.

Next race Merc get 1st and 2nd again will probably because Bernie said they could use full power again lol! Nothing to do with the track, tyres, strategy etc...

Sunday's result wasn't exactly rocket science really - Ferrari have a pretty competitive package that is able to be very light on it's tires, in fact were any of the other front-runner teams able to 2-stop in the race? Given that both Mercs were less than a pit stop behind the Ferrari you have to say that being able to go for the 2 stop strategy made the difference there. Whether the Mercs could have 2-stopped had they not pitted under the SC is unknown. I suspect that they would have been heavily struggling for pace in the last few laps and might have gotten picked off but that's purely speculation.
