Mclaren to get some point biggrin
I could live with that, inc the bit about McLaren in the points.

I'd like to see a proper merc Ferrari battle with all 4 of them involved with Williams following close behind.

Mclaren in the points? A nice idea but I can't see it happening until they get the car back to Europe.

Cant see Red Team fighting Merc just yet.

Combination of things gave them a step up at Malaysia.

They have made a good step forward but can't see them being right there with the Mercs.

Good to see some competition.

1. LH
2. NR
3. Fingers Magee

Mchonda to cross the line with one car, probably Button.

Red Bull and Torro Rosso will be fighting for places midfield, Manor will be mobile chicanes, and Williams will be up Ferraris rear diffuser most of the race.

Qually: 1 Ham, 2 Ros, 3 Vet

Race: 1 Ham, 2 Kimi, 3 Vet

In other hopes and wishes... Jenson will pick up a point or two, both Manor's will finish, the German GP will be back on, and Maldonado won't crash for the whole weekend. (albeit, that last one may be rather too optimistic)

After the 'blip' of Malaysia I'm expecting business as usual in China. Lewis is the winningest driver at this circuit and Williams, having underperformed for various reasons so far this season, will resume their 2014 position as best of the rest. Both teams will be aided by the allocation of Medium and Soft tyre options.

Valterri Bottas will finish 3rd with Raikonnen and Vettel 4th and 5th respectively.

I can't see points for McHonda yet. Points have looked tantalizingly gettable so far in 2015 due to the high rate of attrition, but I think we'll see better reliability across the board with a better finish rate for Ferrari, Red Bull, Torro Rosso, Sauber and also at least one Lotus in the points.

All of this will conspire to keep McHonda out of the points until Monaco.

Did you read the internet rules before logging on? There's a clause about having the word "British" in your username and also using "winngest" in any of your posts unless ironically for the entertainment of our transatlantic cousins. hehe

Ordinarily I'd consider myself suitably chastised and apologise for using such an Americanism on this forum, However since you mis-spelled that same Americanism in your reply I overrule your objection judge

P.S. I did genuinely select that word as I was talking about Hamilton, the most American driver on the grid.

Erm, I reckon top six will be; Schumacher, Hill, Berger, Coulthard, Panis, Frentzen. Katayama to crash at mid distance, that's if his Tyrrell hasn't lunched itself by then!

Hang on...I think I've regressed again...

I'd love to see Vettel challenge the Mercs and maybe Kimi too if he isn't hit or doesn't screw himself over. But I think Merc will probably dominate. Anyone know that the weather will be like? If its hot and there using the soft tyres could Merc struggle?

Weather during the day is unlikely to peak at more than 20 degrees. Don't know the local race time - could be cooler.

I'll be delighted to see Hamilton win again, not to fussed about Rosberg and if it becomes a championship battle between Hamilton and Vettel that will suit me fine. I imagine Raikkonen will be his usual disinterested, rude self when interviewed after failing to finish. Don't get the love for him myself.
