Thought I'd get a thread started for this one in a couple of weeks time.

Rosberg, historically is good here but after the Ferrari performance of Malaysia, I think I'm going for two prancing horses on the podium for this, and a points finish for McLaren.

Maldonado to retire before half distance ....

Race is live at 7am uk time on Sunday the 12th April.

Are people desperate to start these or something? Today's race hasn't even been re-run yet!

Not live on BBC TV, unfortunately.

Am I the only person who got Sky HD just to get the F1 channel? Every race, quali and free practice all shown...

Cue the bleating when someone talks about the race having watched it on Sky when others haven't.banghead

Not everyone can afford Sky. Some even won't buy it because they don't like Murdoch. I'm not a fan of Bernie but it doesn't stop me watching F1.

Getting F1 'free' when the channel was launched was a nice benefit of already having Sky + HD. To have our current package using the 'new' deals available would cost us something like 3x our current bill. As things stand we have HD @ £10 per month on top of the base sub and get the F1. Wife is under strict orders not to engage Sky customer service in any conversations around changing the subscription.

I have seen this occasionally. Personally if I plan to watch the F1 later, I avoid PH (or at least the F1 section), and any news.

How very dare you. You have no right to talk about a GP until everyone who hasn't got Sky has allowed you to do so. Please put your life on hold until they've caught up.

I did this as well and really impressed with the coverage.

My challenge for this race though is to record it and avoid any news and Social media for the day as I'll be watching the WEC at Silverstone. £35 for my ticket and my daughter goes free !!.

If I do hear the result before I watch it when I get home, I'll be straight on here to complain !! wink

Have the same deal, also get BT sport for free with the infinity package (which is also free as I am an Openreach employee..)

What the utter fk have they done to Formula1.com?

Can anyone see the 'convert to my time' button on this page?

Why do web designers always change things for the worse and make a simple easy to use site into something really fking st?
Web designers never change anything, it is invariably the halfwitted suits in charge who do.

The new site is absolutely rubbish, but the inferior live timing is OK on my android phone. Very handy to have running during the race as you often spot stuff before the commentators.

Also, like MOTOGP, they are trying to get fans to pay for information about the sport we wish to follow, see previous remark about halfwit suits.

I will never pay, and now have an excellent streaming site with no problems or nasty popular trying to get me to download trojans.

I will not post the URL but will send it via pm if anyone needs it.

Yes it's st, but it is there. Scroll down the homepage until you can see the flags of each race destination. Wait 1 second and the respective flag for the next race will expand to show the race schedule, where you can click 'convert to your local time'.

The thing i miss the most is the 'countdown to next session' timer.

I would have thought that was just common sense? You can't cry about 'spoilers' when it comes to live sporting events?

I predict -

Ham,
Vet,
Roseberg,
Kimi.

Yes, the new page is a complete clusterfk. This version does nothing better than the previous version, all flash and no substance. And of course there is nowhere I can find to leave them any feedback either.
