that's simply not true.

in the old days, the only reason they were not 100% flat out all race was mechanical reliability, fuel was unlimited as were tyres.
Ok, but you agree that they have never been racing 100% flat out?

The constraining factors are less important.

no, where did I say that?

the first turbo era before fuel restrictions, were very much flat out once they stopped blowing up

That silk blouse and the cold wind is making me think about things other than F1.

So Lewis hopes Seb wins the championship if he doesn't, Nico won't be happy.

No. The car is fenced off with no one working on it.

Nice to see. I pleasant few minutes, but I don't think I've learned much from it. Apart from the name of LH's dog.

I'm excited about this. We need a clean start, and if no one hits one another, we could see some real excitement.

Shame.

I wonder if JB is actually starting to regret all that arse kissing he had to do last year to keep his drive. He would arguably have more fun in another series than doing this nonsense with Mclaren at the moment.

Back to today's race...assuming the positions are maintained off the start I think the more interesting story is what Merc are going to do with Nico rather than Seb against Lewis.

Ferrari are going to want to try and undercut Lewis...but will Merc use the second car to mess with Seb?

Going to be an interesting one.
Will Merc consider NR's race against SB rather than LH?

I always find it amazing how much more relaxed Lee is than Suzi in front of the cameras. The Seb and Lewis interview was good although you get the idea they don't exactly seek each other out to socalise on a race weekend hehe
