Anyone bought a bike purely for sts and giggles, with no need or purpose? I'm sorely tempted by an MSX125 or a scrambler/flat tracker type bike just to play with, dick around on.

What have you all got in the garage that has no use, yet you bought it?

None of mine so far serve any purpose other than to "dick around on" however, there is a new addition joining shortly, and that has purpose albeit young Fleegle will not approve.

Mmmm... do I detect a scooter purchase?

That's a bit like admitting you like a twelve inch dick rammed up your botty

I'd rather admit to that.

I bought a yamaha townmate (yam version of a c90) a while ago, tidied it up, put it in my shed then never used it.

You don't need to.

What happens in Oz is supposed to stay in Oz.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KAWASAKI-Z-750-TWIN-STRE...

I'll pretend i'm Steve McQueen for 5 minutes then put it in the shed never to be seen again.

I'm in exactly the same boat; really tempted by a brand new MSX 125 just to potter about on.

They're like £75 a month with a tiny deposit and seem to hold their money for a fair while too cool I can see them being the next "monkey bike" in a few years and being really sought after. Plus it would go nicely in the garage alongside my 1979 Honda Dax wink

That is a poor effort. My 312RR's battery lasted 62 months and it has just over 7100 miles on now.

As for buying a bike for no real reason. I have a 4700 dry miles SRAD 750 injection that I bought just because it was mint. I don't even like Suzuki's !

I think I have only bought one bike for a sensible purpose (that's out of about forty or so), all the others were for fun of one sort or another - even if only so other folk could laugh at them... Unfortunately the sensible bike was a Honda, put me off ever wanting another...
